Credit Controller

We want an Administrator with great communication skills, excellent attention to detail, personable and who can build relationships with our international clients, someone who loves admin, research, and data!!

Duties will include:

 

  • Chasing debts for both the accountancy and solicitors’ firms, when they become overdue.

 

  • Liaising with clients and colleagues to resolve queries to enable quick payment of outstanding invoices.

 

  • Investigate and resolve any invoicing discrepancies or disputes.

 

  • Hold monthly debtor reviews with all Partners.

 

  • Review aged WIP with Partners on a quarterly basis.

 

  • Utilise available applications (e.g., Chaser) to increase efficiency especially in relation to repetitive tasks that can be automated.

 

  • Calculate and raised interest invoices where appropriate.

 

  • Escalate debts as required, both internally (Partner level) and externally (court claims).

 

  • Maintain accurate information within finance systems.

 

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on ad-hoc queries.

 

  • Systems used– IRIS time and fees, Xero, SOS legal. Previous experience useful but not essential.

 

  • This role will suit someone with previous credit control experience who is organised, has good attention to detail and is confident using excel.
